[edit] Candidates

To be candidate, you have to send an email to office@hackerspace.lu indicating if you want to be President, Vice-President, Treasurer or office member.

who post email date
President 00.00.2018
Vice-President 00.00.2018
Treasurer 00.00.2018
office member 00.00.2018

[edit] Vote delegations

Remember: do not announce delegations to people already listed below: they either are not coming or already have a delegation. First ask personally the delegate if s/he accepts.
Your proxy must bring a valid proof of delegation to the GA or you have to send a PGP signed email to office@hackerspace.lu. Don't create a PGP key on short notice, if it's not verified, the signature not really worth much.

[edit] Past activity over last year

Covers March 2017 until February 2018

Free discussion to be deepened on next open Tuesday:

We are open for suggestions how to engage better the community

Mention that the C64 retrocomputing project was not so well announced. This raised the general question on how to inform people? Same for the air quality sensor. How to communicate?

After several reflections on creating a newsletter or publishing projects online, consensus was found that the currently employed tools are ok and should be used. Need more advertising where up to date infos are to be found. Both projects (retrocomputing and air sensor) were actually communicated on slack (for members) and twitter (for general public).

Watch twitter with @syn2cat and @level2lu (add automatic mailing for tweets where you can register?)

Use the Projects page on the wiki to put the new projects there. Do we need an easier to use wiki? Wiki suffers of old cruft, this is not motivating.

Impression of websites to first users visiting: there is no view of what we do. Suggestion to add twitter feed to main level2 webpage. Also add ongoing projects and open tasks (stuff to improve at level2)

The 2 websites explanation: level2 = place, syn2cat = association

Improve homepage for both: find us here, what we do. The issue is the “too many platforms”, facilitate navigation for first users.

=> discussion moved to next open Tuesday: our web and social media presence, list of communication channels to use. Twitter, wiki, webpage, slack

one member leaves, present now: 8 members

[edit] Receipts and Expenditures

  • Discharge of treasurer (8/8)
  • Discharge of office (8/8)

Each office candidate gives a short info of what he projects to do for the next period

Election results

  • Gunstick: 7/8
  • Marina: 8/8
  • MaFo: 8/8

Treasurer confirmed by hand vote: 8/8

[edit] Administration council

Vote for presidents

  • Gunstick 5/8
  • Marina 6/8

[edit] Next GA (2019) financial auditors

  • Pierre 8/8
