Who's going?

Which means that the dorm is complete!
Still wanna join? Email me and we'll see what we can do.

Wear syn2cat apparel to the Congress! ;)

Collective Journey

Please note that we're scheduled to arrive at the hostel around 6 pm.

Reduced fares

Train

There's a reduced fare available for groups of 10+ 6+ people. (145,40€ p.p.)

And there's also a "Supersparpreis" of 150€ for a round-trip per person. It must be booked at least 7 8 days prior to departure but already includes the 12€ seat reservation.

The train takes 8 hours to get to Berlin. There's a change of schedule on the 12.12, so we don't have times yet. 8 hours seems long but the airplane is not much shorter due to the bus journey.

Airplane

Luxair

These are the fares for a round-trip from Luxembourg Airport to Berlin Tegel and back:

  • <26 years old: 186€
  • Regular: 210€

There are no flights on Saturday (26) with Luxair. There is a Swiss-air flight which comes in at ~250€ via Zurich. (round-trip) --Tschew 16:40, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

Air-Berlin

Air-berlin seems to be much cheaper but we'd need to get to Saarbrücken (there's a bus that costs 28€ per round-trip)

These tickets would have to be bought ASAP!

The tickets cost 114€ today when paying by credit card. (round trip) I think this is the most convenient overall, however, the ONLY outgoing flight is at 8 in the MORNING. The bus to Saarbrücken leaves at 4:10 or 5:15 @ Luxembourg Gare and arrives at 5:25 or 6:30. The former should be enough to catch the flight, the latter could be a bit late. The return flight is at 8 in the evening, which is quite good I suppose. (22:00 in Saarbrücken) --Tschew 16:42, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

Ryanair

100-120€ per person for the flight + 30€ for the bus. (Plus Ryanair hidden costs.)

Accomodation

kwisatz has booked one 6-bed dorm in Rosa Luxemburg Strasse: St. Christopher's Inn

Please contact Kwisatz if you want to join the party. A second dorm would be required, but we can always try to get one.

Total cost (for 26th till 30th [4 nights]) will be 83€. Please contact me for transfer details.
