syn2cat e-mail hosting
Every member can get an e-mail address under one or multiple syn2cat owned domains (where appropriate / no specific rules apply). That may either be a full mailbox + IMAP access or simply a forwarding address.
How do I get one?
Simply drop the sysops a mail (sysops @at@ hackerspace !dot! lu) with your request and do include:
- mailbox or forwarder
- if forwarder: address your mail should be forwarded to
- aliases
- e.g. suppose your name is John Doe:
- john.doe@
- j.doe@
- etc
How do I access my mails
If you have a full mailbox, here are the settings to access it:
IMAP:
- hostname: imap.hackerspace.lu
- port: 143
- security: starttls
- login: <your syn2cat login>
SMTP:
- hostname: smtp.hackerspace.lu
- port: 25
- security: starttls
- login: <your syn2cat login>
Webmail:
Note: If you'd like to give your setup a try, please send your test email(s) to test/AT\lists.hackerspace .lu
