Recurring posters?
What are these 150 € / month for posters for?
Are those the posters we're issuing? --kwisatz 13:40, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
Reflection on electricity
Currently the electricity price are 14.46 c€/kWh
For a 1W device this means:
1 Day ---> 24 Wh ---> 0.024 kWh --> 0.0035€
1 Month -> 720 Wh --> 0.720 kWh --> 0.1041€
1 Year --> 8760 Wh -> 8.760 kWh --> 1.2667€
For a Server with 150W average power consumption this means:
Charge per month: 15.6€
Charge per year: 190€

Reflection on furniture
I think that for the beginning we may save a lot of money simply by asking family and friends if they envisage buying new furniture.
My experience with my scouts group is that we will get more armchairs and couches then we will actually need.

- Good idea --kwisatz 09:38, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
I'm not that we are going to need a dishwasher right from the start. A sponge, Soap and a bit of discipline from everyone
has the same effect. Same for the Cleaning Maid. A schedule with two to four people per month that clean up should be fine as well, and save some cash.

Drinks and Food
Drinks and Food (150€?)...
I personally think everyone should pay for what he/she has consume. Simply having a little stock of coke, jus and chips with quiet low prices (1€) will be enough. And people who don't like to pay that money, they should be allowed to bring their one food with...

Equipment
3 Laptops? I think using membership fees to pay for those will require some convincing arguments!

AV Equipment
Judging by the planned expenditure for the AV system I assume we plan to watch movies using the beamer and some canvas. I'm not sure about the copyright situation in Luxembourg, but I think we should consider possible licensing costs as well.

Security Fund
I believe we should set up a safety net in a separate account. Money that will not be touched and still belongs to the "donor" unless some calamity causes dire need. The money can only be withdrawn with agreement of the board. I personally vouch to add 500€ to the pot. --Tschew 18:38, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
- That is actually a very good idea. How would you technically go about the 'still belongs to the donor' part? By signing a contract (even if just verbally?) --kwisatz 18:52, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
