[edit] Introduction

If you would like to discuss something, simply add it below the upcoming event!

The Guidelines page regroups all major decisions taken at prior Bootstrap Meetings.

  • No items can be added to a schedule once the meeting has begun.
  • A meeting can't last any longer than 4 hours (a 30min pause will be made after 2h)
  • People should sign the topics they added using ~~~.
  • Topics will only be discussed if their authors are present at the meeting.

[edit] science festival

Gunstick presented our application to the science festival 2013 which has been accepted. The activities will be Non_Newtonian_Fluids:

[edit] Member-(business)cards

The idea is to have member cards and/or business cards without an expiration date. The validity of the card is checked by scanning a QR code. The code directs to this page (example for gunstick)

Just type an username in the URL and you get that user's page. The data is retrieved from mematool (i.e. ldap server). The page also displays the QR code, which can be used on own business cards.

There are also links provided:

  • to the profile on the wiki
  • to check the validity and retrieve the PGP key.

[edit] Kenn's request for flying zone

Kenn often goes flying with his planes in the nearby fields. He would like that inexperienced pilots (like most of us) don't go there, as there are buildings, roads and houses very close. It can happen very fast that a plane gets out of control and causes accidents and injuries. Such an event could jeopardize Kenn's project as we could risk getting a ban on flying anything there.
