Introduction

If you would like to discuss something, simply add it below the upcoming event!

The Guidelines page regroups all major decisions taken at prior Bootstrap Meetings.

Etiquette
  • No items can be added to a schedule once the meeting has begun.
  • A meeting can't last any longer than 4 hours (a 30min pause will be made after 2h)
  • People should sign the topics they added using ~~~.
  • Topics will only be discussed if their authors are present at the meeting.

Topics

  • review of Bootstrap 2012-10 ACTions. --Kwisatz (talk) 16:22, 21 October 2012 (CEST)
  • small addition to the funding scheme - when cost >= X (suggestions: X = 100|150|200), inform the community well beforehand the office decision making date. --Kris 10:28, 17 November 2012 (CEST)
    • What it is NOT about:
      • smashing projects down with comments like "we do not need this",
      • cutting the office out of the decision line.
    • What it IS about:
      • gathering people with similar interests,
      • helping to evaluate possible alternatives,
      • helping the interested people to understand the proposal and to show support to it.
  • second addition to the funding scheme - when cost >= X (the same X as above), request the requester to provide written down description of the project. --Kris 10:28, 17 November 2012 (CEST)
    • This description should contain at least the following:
      • general description of the project,
      • when it is about buying some infrastructure item, then also the description for what the requester plans to use it,
      • when it is about buying some infrastructure item, then also an evaluation of the possible alternatives (why they do not fit).
